Hi ALL

the now processing date for K1 visa's for California shows February 13, 2007.

DOes this mean that they are processing applications filed in February?

I am a July filer, does this mean I have to wait 5 more Months?

Is that Date accurate?

Not exactly, but it is the date they use before they will do anything about a case when it has gone outside of normal processing times. Normal processing times are about 3-4 months. You can look on the timelines page for more info.

Hey I think they put that date there as the worst case senario. I believe that CSC is procesing application from late April, early May.

Interview: 2008-02-21

Visa in hand: 2008-02-26

POE (NYC):2008-03-11

Wedding: 2008-04-11

AOS Interview Appointment 2008-12-08

The date(s) shown (for all the various visas) for processing times are the oldest (dated) petitions they are processing, not the most recent - you would think it would be the other way around, but what will you do? Obviously they are processing petitions much past those dates but it'd be nice to see most recent instead.
