hi all i called csc today to find out whats up with my noa-1 i havent recieved and i am into process 80 days and there still haveing problems with printing I-797 and there printing out the notice for the ones that call to request them ( manually printing) i was going to file for k-3 but never got noa-1 so never filed 129f also asked if i could just go with the 130 form and the women told me that the 130 would be approved before the 129f would be if filed now. was worried because my I-130 had k-3 writen on it and wondered if that would cause some confusion when processing. so if you want your noa-1 and havent recieved them from march and june filers you have to call and request and they will print out manually and send but i will believe it when i see it but if it hasnt been over 60 day since they recieved i dont guarentee nothing good luck to all in the waiting game

The fact that you wrote K3 on your I130 cover letter or elsewhere on the I130 won't have any impact. If they never get an I129F they will process it as Cr-1/Ir-1 petition. The K3 only comes into play if they find an I129F petition in the system and pair the petitions.

It seems CSC is getting even slower at sending out I797c notices. Just for informational purposes you can send in a I-129F (K3) without a copy of the NOA1. A copy of your canceled check and a printout from your online case status (CRIS) showing that your I-130 was received has been working for many petitioners.

If you plan to go with the IR1/CR1 you should look up James's shortcut.

Good luck.

so does that means that we wont be able to file the K3 anymore since they can start the CR1 before we can even apply for K3??? i mean K3 will be useless since it cant be process faster than the cr1 now... geeeez... this is crazy! check's not even cashed yet,,, we're still hoping we can send the I129f fast!

I was advised not to so I didn't but a lot of people use a copy of the cashed money order as prove of filing the I-130 and I have read some threads suggesting to file the I-129F without any prove as now they end up in the same place. we still filed the I-129F just to be on the safe side in case the first got stuck somewhere to me it was better to have two horses running.

from what your time line is it looks like you filed in aug. you should of been able to send both form in together not seperate. and with the rush to beat the price gouge everyone filed before july 30 so back log they are. you can try to call them but it hasnt been 30 day since you filed so they might not even gotten to your papers ??? think this is bad wait for another 60 day of not hearing anything. as for k-3 and cr-1 there about same time line it is cheaper for the cr-1 do to the price gouge aos is now $ 1010.00 good luck
