Hi guys well we leave for my husbands interview i in a week and Im starting to freak out  . We are on a really tight budget and Ive been searching the forums to see if there will be any unexpected fees we will have to pay at the interview. I know we will have to pay for the dr and any vaccines. But I just want to be as prepared as possible. It seems like most of the info on the forums is for the K-1 visa and we have the CR-1 visa so any advice would be sooooo great.

Thanks

Becki

Since you're going for an IR1 visa you should be all set. The only fees you have left are for photos, lab, vaccines and medical.

Everything can be found on the Ciudad Juarez website. You will pay the visa fee, the medical exam fee, any necessary vaccinations and if necessary, the cost of fingerprints ($85).

You shouldn't have visa or fingerprint fees since you already paid the IV Bill, but call the embassy in Ciudad Juárez to find out. I know in Colombia once we pay everything to the NVC there is absolutely nothing extra that we have to pay at the embassy. Everything should be covered with the AOS and IV bills you paid before the interview.
