I was reading some emails from the Philippines expat group I belong to and there was an interesting post about VJ. The guy was telling everyone who would listen how out-dated and incorrect the information was here on VJ and they should be using his service to process their visas.

Now I don't mind people trying to make few bucks but to start critizing a web site that has helped so many and has done it for free really irked me

Was he really nasty about it?

I was quoted in early 2006 of saying some some stuff about VJ on another site. The person who quoted me was pretty nasty about it. I said the site did not help me much and ,honestly, to that point, it had not. I had completed most of my process on my own with my own research. And, some of the stuff people said and continue to say was not true in our case.

Since then, I've spent considerable time on here, learning and enjoying the comfortable companionship of those who know where I've been and where I am going.

I love VJ too.

If he was nasty about it, then he sucks.

He was very negative about VJ. It is understandable because he wants the business but it just irks me to see blatant lies about our most beloved VJ

I think Carl is a little nutty. He's always grossly exaggerating or misleading people to scare them so they will use his services. And then there are his rants about the government and the embassy ...

Of course some people are not going to do their homework and use VJ effectively, so I guess those folks might be better off using a VISA service like his.

BTW, thanks for the tip about that group. One of the guys I met there is helping me with a land puchase.
