Passport Needed During Lifting Conditions Process??

Hey folks, quick question:

We just sent off the I-751 to TSC last week. My wife's passport (Philippines) is about to expire in March 2008. We want to send her passport to the Philippine consul in Los Angeles to extend the expiration date and update her name to her married name.

Question is will we need her passport for anything relating to this I-751 approval?? We will not travel out of country....but does the USCIS need her passport for anything?? Biometrics?? Interview??? We don't want to send off her passport if we need it to get approval for her I-751.

Thanks !

As long as she has some form of Photo ID for her Biometrics appointment she should be ok.... you dont need a passport just a photo ID to get inside....

Kez

AND a green card. You can't do your biometrics without it.
