You're going through Vancouver so they will do either same day pickup or next day pick up. If your interview is in the morning, then it's same day. If it's in the afternoon, then next day.

You should bring in 2 copies of the DS156. You did do the electronic version that has the barcode right?

You'll be FINE next week. :)

Vancouver issues the visa for next day pick up. If there's a lineup outside the consulate door when you go to get your visa, ask the security guard at the front and she'll most likely let you bypass the lineup. Make sure you have an umbrella in case it's raining - that envelope is huuuuuuuuuuge. ^_^

Be sure to get your deposit paid at a Scotiabank branch before you go to the interview - there's a branch located on the corner of Robson and Bute St if you're staying downtown.

Make sure that you bring very little with you to the interview - you'll have to go through two security checks, and there was a girl there that had to come back because she brought a cell phone with her. You're able to go into the consulate at 12.45pm so the earlier you get in there, the better. Don't forget to bring your case letter as they will want to see that at the door.

You'll do fine, so don't fret about it too much! Good luck! :D

Sutton, what time is your interview? You can also read my review linked in my signature so you know what to expect with security checks, etc. The consulate staff (including security) were all very nice.
