The RFE for my son's AOS application was asking for I-693 Vaccination Supplement which I had already sent them. I don't know if they lost it or if it was filled out incorrectly by the Civil Surgeon so will need to look at my photocopy once I get home to make sure. I tell you...if the doctor's office messed up I'm not paying for them to do it again and they had better rectify their mistake pronto.

and if the USCIS just overlooked what was already under their noses and it was filled in correctly, I'm even more bummed about getting the RFE. Imbeciles!!!

I know it's easily solved but it's still irritating!

I would love to contact them but how do I actually get through to a real person who can look in the file and locate the document they seem to have overlooked or lost? From what I understand I can only get to speak with a general operator who will know nothing about my personal file!

Probably easier to just go get another I-693 supplement!

Make sure that the RFE was for the supplement and not the entire medical. Check this eventhough you had the medical completed. There was someone on VJ that got an RFE for the medical, they had the medical already and just submitted the supplement. Then they got a letter of intent to deny the AOS because they did not submit what the RFE asked for.

Play it safe and make sure.

Our sympathies on this frustration for you.

I agree, check over the RFE to make sure it's for the supplement and NOT for the whole medical. Did they issue the RFE after receiving the supplement or before? If it's for before, you should try to touch base and make sure they have the missing information. You could call USCIS -- always hard -- or schedule an infopass to see that it was taken. A lot of hassle, understandably, but your other option is probably getting teh medical all over again. :(
