How embarrassing

So Johnny had to go in today for a meeting and then his boss was taking him out for lunch. Normally, Johnny would just drive his own truck and I'd take my car to work, but this morning the truck wouldn't start (think the starter is bad) and we ended up having him drop me off at work and taking my car to work today.

Well, apparently his boss has a 2 seater car and there was one other guy going so they decided they had to take my car out to lunch.....

... I should mention that since I've been pregnant the front floorboard (passenger side) of my car hasn't been the cleanest. I'm having a hard time bending over to pick stuff up, and we are notorious for just dropping things on the floorboard to be picked up later when we get home. So it hasn't been picked up for a while Well his boss jumped in before J could pick up the trash. And then the other guy got in the backseat. I was then informed that my children have been leaving candy and wrappers back there

I am so totally embarrassed! I told him he HAS to tell his boss that I'm sorry that my car was such a mess What makes it worse is that I've never met this guy and now I have to face him at the next company thing while I'm sure he'll be looking at me, thinking what a slob!!!

Anyway, that's my little story for the day......

After all this blurs out, you´ll find it amusing.

First time I called my fiance in Puerto Rico, his dad answered the phone, and their voices are the SAME. I was nervous about something, I think it had something to do with me having argued with my parents, and I was crying and really wanted to vent with my fiance, so when "he" answered the phone I started shouting "My love! I need to talk, go to MSN! PLEEEASSEEEE! I feel horrible! Go to MSN" And I kept shouting and shouting and he kept going "Wha?" And I went on "#######?!?! Are you sleeping! It´s ME!" and I started getting mad that he didn´t know who it was, and you can imagine my state at calling my fiance (back then he was my boyfriend, and we had met only for one vacations) and he not knowing it was me.

After a lot of crying, shouting, and "whaaaa?" he said "Oh! Is this Laura? This is Luis´s dad, I´ll go get him" and I was left feeling completely sick and wanted to dig a hole and get inside it.

Btw, my Luis´s dad is called Luis as well, so when he answered, this is Luis, I thought it was MY Luis.

You tell me! When I actually met him in person I was still embarrassed and that was 2 years later.

He´s a super fun guy though, and good humoured, so I felt more at ease later, even joked about the situation.

I had to take my car into the shop the day after my son threw up in it. It was in July and very hot and smelled really REALLY bad. I was so embarrassed.
