I'll be in Peru visiting my fiancee and enjoying the fact that it is summer there. Valentines will probably be spent at the beach and I will be "formally" asking for her hand in marriage and presenting the ring under moonlight by the ocean.

I still have no thoughts yet, want to do something special!

I am keeping very quiet about it at home and going to wait and see what Brandon will come up with. I mentioned it two weeks ago that we're going to celebrate many important occasions together in person for the first time this year. Hopefully, that was enough of a gentle prod in the right direction.

But jokes aside, I might surprise him with the flowers and chocolates instead .. just for a barrel of laughs.

Oh yeah, I'm definitely envious of mercuryroad's Valentine's Day plans.

As for me, I sent my lovely a package just Tuesday filled with something to amuse her, something to indulge her, something to pamper her, something to save her money, and most importantly something to warm her heart.

Side note:

We had talked about possibly being married on Valentine's '07, but it looks now like we'll probably still be waiting on the K-1 at that time.

Since Valentine's Day falls during the week, we made plans for the weekend following it (the 18th) We're going on a 2 days ski trip to Mount Shasta and we'll also take the "Shasta Dinner train" (you can check it out here if you want: http://www.shastasunset.com ) in McCloud - a 3 hours ride through the snowy mountains!!! We booked a cute & charming suite in one of the rustic bed & breakfast inns in Mt Shasta. It's gonna be awesome and we're soooooo looking forward to it!
