Right to file waiver granted!

Glory to God! We are so excited!

Andrew just received a letter from US immigration in response to our lawyer's "Motion To Reconsider" request in order to fight for another chance against the denial. The letter includes the I-601 waiver forms, in which we had been previously completely denied the right to file for when he was denied initially at his interview on December 8th, 2006. This waiver gives us another chance to have a second interview! We finally have a chance to file a waiver!

This is a HUGE door that God has opened. God has helped us in many ways! The Embassy has basically ignored our appeal (MTR) for 7 months, at the suggestion of our lawyer, we were told that it is harder for the Embassy to ignore a congressman. So, we made every effort to make the appropriate contacts in our Senator's office to help us in our sitauation. It wasn't until Our Senator became involved in contacting the Embassy that our MTR was even touched.

This battle is not over yet. The next stage is to file for the waiver and wait for an approval or denial. It costs alot of money to have our lawyer file the waiver, plus the waiver fee. We need your continued prayers for our finances and for the waiver itself.
