Oh wow. How good these are!

When Zach was about that age, he also drew a lot. But his real interest was his Legos. He played with them constantly, and claimed he wanted to be a Lego designer when he grew up. He even did a report that year on the history of the Lego company.

Later on he wanted to work for LucasArts.

Then one day he picked up a trombone.

Now at 19 he's off to college, studying to be a music education teacher. It took him a while to find his true calling, but he got there. I'm endlessly proud of him, and still have some of his original drawings....and the copy of the Lego report of course.

Tara, just keep buying those art supplies and encouraging that creativity. There can't be any greater reward in life than to do something you love for a living! Just think...our children have a chance to do that!

Really nice, Tara! :star: I'd encourage her to draw from life even if it's a caricature of family members and pets. Does she want to be a cartoonist?

Yea she wants to work in anime. Her life plan is to go to college for it and then move to japan :)

I encourage her alot, and spend alot of money on art supplies :)

She definitely has alot of talent there. Good on you for encouraging her and supporting her as well!

I'm glad you do that Tara. My momma kept me supplied with pencils and paper, coloured pencils when we could afford it then later on she started buying acrylics and brushes for me. I've been drawing and painting for years, now my daughter has started drawing a lot...mostly animals (horses). IMHO it's always best to do what you love in life...drawing apparently is her love because she's fantabulous at it. :)

Wow! Those are so cool! I am always envious of those with artistic talent! The drawings remind me of the ones my 15 year old neice does. How old is your daughter?

Ionescu they are excellent. My daughter (19) does the same thing. She belongs to some groups on the web (she's the one that's the admin on a couple boards)....they do the pics, post them and share them. BUT don't let yours get into that, mine is on the computer all the time now.

She's going for anthropology....not real sure where her anime fits in, lol

I got a BA in Anthropology but I plan on getting my MA in British History!

what do you plan to do with a Masters in british history?

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

These pictures are amazing. It's so awesome that you encourage her creativity - keep it up, please! :D

Now, all she needs to do is start drawing Totoro and I'll be her biggest fan...

Nini - Vancouver BC, Canada (she's the one who does the forum thing)

Bee - Devon PA, USA (he's the one who gave her the shiny ring)
