Hello everybody,

our case was touched yesterday and USCIS sent us a notice requesting additional evidence. Does have anybody experience with this? What will they request?

Please, answer anybody, it make me kinda nervous :unsure:

I just received an RFE as well in the email, and then they sent me the paperwork in my mail. It is different for everyone, but for me they wanted a divorce document for my wife from France. All countries are different, and in France, your birth, marriage, and divorce, are all listed on one document. Apparently immigration wants a separate divorce document of my wife's divorce. I hope this helps.

Yep. If you want to get a head start, then begin comparing what you sent with the list of things you should have sent and see what might be missing. If you don't know how to do that, then present the list here and we'll tell you what's missing.

The RFE depends on the docs you sent and it's different for everyone, a friend of ours forgot to include a copy of the passport. It's not necessarily a big deal, comparing your package with the list of required docs is the best advice.

We called twice and they gave us a number to track our request for re-send the letter.

We believe it can be my pics that my husband forgot to attach on the process or some minor mistake but since we did not get the letter we really do not know.

I would like to know if it is possible to know what they are asking for by phone, i hope some one can give us a clue.

2007/09/29 - RFE Docs arrived there ... nightmare over !

we are waiting for our letter since this monday so I hope it will come soon, but I´m so shocked with u to be waiting already a month for that :( that´s ridiculous. I´m not able to give u any advice now, we just have to wait again, again and again. But we can keep each other updated for sure.

Hi Nerdette !

I forgot to tell you after they gave us a track number they said we should wait for 45 days.

This number just give us a proof that we have a request asking for another letter just that.

I am desperate looking for others who had the same problem and perhaps can give some information about how to know what they are asking for by phone.

Here is the problem :

Our RFE is from I-130 and it looks like the I129F process has not been touched either as both are in the same Service Center.
