I priced all the differant travel webites for the best price on 2 nites at bayview hotel, highest price was $109.90 a nite, lowest $52.00 a nite. All the prices were for the same room and everything. Its hard to beleive that some sites want to make so much off people. The best price was at www.hoteltravel.com

You'll find discrimination based on nationality with the room rates also. There is a "locals" (filipino) rate and a foreigner rate. The former is always much lower than the latter.

I use asiatravel.com, $40 a night (bayview) balikbayan rate is much cheaper than local. Me and my wife stayed there for 2 nights... Although we have a house in caloocan...stayed at bayview to get legal capacity to marry early in the morning......we want a little privacy too :) kinda nice for a day without our son sneaking inside our blanket ;)

Yeah, but also rates very depending on the extras included with the room.

This is what I used when Claudeth went to Manila and it cost me $160 for a week in the Bayview. I am sure the rates have gone up since then. They did ask me who was staying there, foreigners or Filipinos so maybe we got a discount for that. http://www.asiatravel.com/philippines.html

Jennifer checked into hotel and they wanted a 2,000 peso deposit, I paid for hotel on internet. I didnt know about a deposit, glad she had the money on her. They said they will return on check out.

yes most hotel policy, its where they can deduct all the things that was lost and consume during the stay, for me I got some drinks in the fridge and replace it before check out lol, cause the price was doubled....
