Hi there...

I got my brother in law in the states to post our AOS fee bill from Hawaii last Monday 20th August.. I called the NVC line today to get an update on our case and the recording only recognises the receipt of our choice of agent form at this stage.

No mention of the AOS fee bill receipt at all :-O

Should I be worried? Does anyone know how long it usually takes the NVC to enter this into the system?

Many thanks for your replies :-))

Helllo,

I am also waiting for the NVC to credit my IV bill for my case... They got it on Aug 3, but are yet to process my payment. Due to changes in fees on July 30, NVC has lots of applications and fees to process. Hence there will be a delay regarding it. Below i Am posting an email reply from NVC , which will let you know How long it will take and what are things to come.

Please follow the instructions received with your Immigrant Visa fee

bill and mail the payment to:

National Visa Center

PO Box 790136

St. Louis, MO 63179-0136

Please make sure all cashier's checks or money orders are made payable

to the Department of State.

Unfortunately, the fee payment about which you have inquired has not

yet been credited to the case. Please allow 25-30 business days for the

fee payment to be reconciled with the case.

Look at my signature, it should give you an idea.

My guess is that you have to wait just one week longer.

I don't think JIGI's case is "normal".

Agreed with RandyandRina, it took a short while for the AoS fee bill to be processed. See my timeline below. :)

Now the IV bill, that looks like it's taking awhile.

Regardless, if you have questions then call the NVC.

Hi, I think it would take a few more days for it to process, but also, if I remember correctly, NVC does not provide information on AOS (bills or forms) on the automated line (the recording). You have to actually speak with an operator to get the information on the AOS.

Posted

From my experience, the operators seem so to know much better as to what is going on versus the automated system. You can look at our timelines as a sort of guide.
