After the Embassy interview, if we are approved, the proofs of relationship (cards,WU receipts, etc.) are returned to us at Window 37 or 38. My question...Will we be needing these documents during the AOS or any immigration process? Ours is quite heavy and I do not want to waste a kilo or two on documents.

But I think that the evidences needed in the AOS are documents that will prove co-habitation or co-ownership as a married couple. Am I right?

I thought the same that all the stuff prior to the interview was history!

Wrong! IO at the AOS interview checked out our wedding pictures from in the Philippines and asked us questions about the wedding and reception.

He had ALL the paperwork we'd submiited from day 1 of the process right infront of him.

It was about 6" thick!

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

You dont need those cards, letters and receipts anymore on your AOS application.

if you get married in phil, of course you'll need that docs in the AOS knowing its one of the main evidence that you two are married... i brought my "#######" from phil just for keepsake and for emergency. but since i got married here, then i have to prepare a new set of evidence like married cert/license, joint bank account, health insurance, house bills both of our name, pics together with his family and friends, travel/vacation tickets etc (just like what we prepared in phil) good luck!!!

Citizenship N-400

4/15/2010- sent my N-400 via fedex overnight

4/16/2010- signed and delivered

4/29/2010- check cleared
