hi,

I agree with Stabu-Geist that it is matter of luck.. i saw the calender and AUG 3 is Friday. So i guess they must have unloaded the payments in one corner and thought we will process them on monday as they dotn work on weekends and on weekends they must have Got Tonnes of Mail. And in this i guess all my friends in stabu, me, micky, Kaelle , we alll got stuck... and many more who are on other type of visa petiotions. I guess it was our destiny that our fee payments clashed with the increase in Fee increase by USCIS. Destiny i guess. I wonder why didnt they create a back up ( by they i mean NVC) that they dont have to let the current petitons let affected. What else we can do .. is to wait and pray to god our payments are located and credited soon

Apparently also sjmartins (08/03) and mikeandlani (08/04) sent in their IV payments around the same time as the rest of us stuck in here did. I wonder if they have the same problem as we do...

It seems that we are seeing a trend for those IV Bill recvd or sent on August 3rd, still have not been processed. Do you see what I see?

Quite sucky indeed. I requested a new cover letter for the IV fee bill to be sent to me last week. Unfortunately I didn't photocopy the original one sent to me, or else I would have sent it off already. I would advise anyone else to photocopy the damn thing in case this happens again. It seems that if I had waited a week or so to send the damn thing out, we would not have been trapped .

It is unfortunate that this has happened Geist. I guess, to ask for another IV Bill letter is the best way to do right now. I just want to remind you that there is a note on there that you can not photocopy the bill right above the the tear along dotted lines. Also, they do have that extra digits right below the barcode.

There does seem to be a pattern here! I don't think Arla counts for this list as she did send a cashier's cheque, they just sent it back saying it wasn't a cashiers cheque.

Yeah, for some reason there was a lag at NVC starting around 08/02 (on a Thursday) and ending around 08/10 (on a Friday). You seemed to avoid it pretty well right in time as did MegDan who sent it in 08/08, also Rika6067 sent theirs in the 18th and it was accepted in the usual 10 days. I also added DEECEE to the "list" even if it's rather useless just to know better what NVC is doing. Apparently they have started to solve the queue from the end part now, and thus hopefully they will soon cash the rest of us. So sad, I was first in, now it seems as if I'm the last one out ...

What I wanted to say was that, of course you can photocopy it but for your own records. But, to photocopy it then resend your replacement payment with it may be a problem. I may be wrong, but I just wanted to point that out since I saw that note very clear on the bill.

Added dillydally just for comparison. It seems that at least after the 16th everything in NVC has gone normally. Sad that there was around a week when things got stuck up ...
