*snort* turned into illegal immigrant thread again.

Figured I'd go to work, come back and maybe the thread might be on track....

Oh hold on, I'm getting it, all Canadians are liars  That's it!!

Damn we're slow to catch on, suckers for punishment......

According to the select few anyway.

Anyone have a wooden stake, maybe we can kill it!!!

Since overnight this thread became ALL ABOUT ILLEGALS & HOW MUCH CANADIANS ARE LIARS* -

I would like to add, Canadians are a very defensive bunch.

*quoted from a Canadian

have I entered the Twilight Zone" or something??

we are seriously arguing over the fact that some American's might or might not wear a Canadian flag when traveling" and notice I said we

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

That reminds me... I had a friend who used to refer to people from Quebec as "Quebecians." I know the correct term is "Quebecois," but I sort of like "Quebecians." It has a nice ring to it. ;)

Could some of the Canadians help me with what I'm missing out on?

I think this be the reason this thread went to #######...

If we posted the same thread..

"How should we characterise USC's"... and the rest of us NON-USC's had at it.. we'd have some miffed Americans on our hands as well...

It's not that we can't take a joke.. it's just some of the "jokes/comments" in here weren't all that funny..

Because nothing - so far - not even the original topic has violated the TOS. *sigh*

I love This Hour has 22 minutes and The Hour. George Stromboulopoulus-whatever his last name is, is hot! I'm fortunate enough to live about 20 mins from the Detroit/Windsor border so I can pick up a few Canadian channels.

Way to go, Emancipation! :)

I really miss "This Hour has 22 minutes" and "The Red Green Show" too. Many of my US friends who live close to the border tune in regularly. If anyone wishes, you can also catch segments of "The Royal Canadian Air Farce" on their website (and I do, oh, it is so good!) at: http://www.airfarce.com/ .

Actually, I have made maple syrup - with sap tapped from maple trees at a friends house in Michigan (VBG) - what a process! It was really neat in Spring, though, to go out into the woods on a horse drawn sleigh to the sugaring off hut and eat hot syrup dribbled on the snow. We used to enjoy the many pancake and maple syrup festivals that sprang up when the sap was running in the early Spring. Fun times and good memories:-).
