we cant even get a simple k-3 visa. you know the one that allows your family member

to wait in the USA while the CR1 is being processed. so this whole illegal talk dont make me feel very

good. :(

I'm with you there. I am overwhelmingly upset tonight at the US govt.

Well unfortunately we are the forgotten people.....the people who's petitions and such have fallen throught the cracks....or files got lost....or sat in some damn room for months and months on end until they reached the point where they either aged out....or the damn security checks expired.....and I can tell you from my experience with Senators & Congressmen - the majority of them don't give a f**K.....

The media is not interested in our stories....I think because they don't believe us.....they don't think the government is as f**ked up as it is.....and everything is a big damn secret....the USCIS will not tell a congressman or senator anything put the damn scripted line....and the damn Senators and Congressman pass it on to us and tell us to wait.....(sorry am starting to rant)

Char

yes I fully agree. I hesitate when I write to congressman. I am actully sitting here pondering if its even worth sending this fax to them. I think yeah wait a month they tell me the same thing I already know.

Security Checks pending.

You know what upsets me? My son entered "legally" and he is being threatened with deportation. 11 million enter "illegally" and they are offered citizenship!

As you know I entered legally as a K1. Now I'm also being threatened with deportation too. My only "crime" was to end up married to an abusive man.

Shona

I truly feel for you, Shona, believe me I do. As I posted the above I was thinking of you and many others that are threatened with deportation when they have done nothing wrong. Nothing!

It seems that the voice of the illegals is being heard, loud and clear. I see demonstrations, supporting the new Bill, reported on the News. I don't see any legal immigrants demonstrating or reports in the media about the unfairness of the system and the situations they find themselves in. I haven't seen one report on the t.v. about the obstacles put in the way of legal aliens, or the problems this Bill is going to cause them.

The backlogs and processing delays are bad enough now. What is it going to be like when they have another 11 million applications to process? Chaos!

Our journey started in 2001 and it's still not over. It's been a rollercoaster ride all the way! Let me off - I wanna be sick!

An interesting point is US gov and media in general not giving a damn about us is that most of us met our SOs online, and most people don´t believe in relationships started online.

So, if we´re already "losers" from having online relationships, we can stand waiting months and months to get our visas, ´cus what do we know, right?

look.. 2 years ago they were blaming the lenghty procedures on the terrorists.. now the illegals.. i dont think that these dudes affect all the dumb stuff they do or do not at each consulate/embassy.. and/or how fast FBI will do the security checks, which we know they arent that computer savy...

its true that it sucks about the dudes being in USA for more than 5 years getting citizenship.. but, i dont think many will try to apply, so they will probly get deported anyway.. the ones that are gonna stay on guest workers.. they are gonna stay here temporarily.. after 3 years they're gonna get their arses deported.. so, if u wanna stay here forever, i'd think u need a broader security check rather than a disposable amigou...

its true that it's a big privilege.. but, i dont think it will affect everybody at a personal level.. and personally, if they get deported, good.. if they dont.. good.. i dont really care what happens to the illegals.. i dont see one coming and taking my job or my wife's job.. or my house..

What would be nice is, enticing them to return to their own country with this new law and instead of letting them back in to the usa on temp. worker, that they just shut the damn door in their faces and say 'ha, stay out of my country. jokes on you now.' and than they get banned. only applies to illegals.

But what sort of message is the govt giving here? It almost sounds like they are saying, hey if you come to america illegally, we'll make it worth your while. I'm still going to do this legally, the right way. it's just frustrating. I've had a really bad day!!!

sometimes the right way ain't the easy or the pretty way.. but.. I would never wish anything bad to other people.. even if they are taking a shortcut.. would u like someone thinking 'I wish u don't get a Visa'? not me..
