Me too.

The only Indians I know who can get visitor visas are either insanely wealthy OR they have previously travelled to the US on other kinds of visas (H1B, student, whatever) without any violation of their visa terms...

pedroh, surf over to http://www.immigrate2us.net/forum/viewforum.php?f=26 and read the opinions there from people waiting on/completing I-601s. Juarez does indeed have a reputation for approving these waivers fairly easily, and quickly, in comparison to other Consulates around the world.

Waivers can take years to process depending on the country....but guess what the number one consulate/embassy is Ciudad Juarez, number 1 in approvals.....and number 1 in processing them.....most in a few months. [/b]

Hmmm is right. Approval rates in Juarez are high, no doubt about that, although according to this article dated 12/15/05 (http://www.ilw.com/articles/2005,1215-wheeler.shtm) that could be changing.

Do you have sources showing waiver adjudications are quicker in Mexico than in other countries? Current wait time for Juarez interviews is at least a year (last time I checked), and the waiver adjudication rate according to the same website (http://www.ilw.com/articles/2005,1215-wheeler.shtm) is six to nine month delay, and people I know who've needed waivers have waited even longer.

I'm truly curious to have other countries' adjudication wait times and approval rates to compare. Please share your knowledge.
