if you bring a child into the US and he/she doesnt speak english, then yea, i expect you as the parent to teach your child the LANGUAGE SPOKEN before throwing the child into a school. its common sence

I know, i just feel in my heart, if my son or daughter didnt speak english, id rather get someone to help teach her or learn myself with her, so shed know a basic amount before going to school. its confusing going to a school and not knowing whats going on and possibly being made fun of for it.

I suspect it will take significantly less than a couple of years... It would be interesting to hear an update come December, my guess is that the situation will be greatly different....

Being made fun of by other kids is part of life. Feeling alienated from time to time is part of life as well. It happens. If the child is like most children, he or she will get over it. If he/she isn't like most children, we'll have another serial killer on our hands.
