Hi,

My first post here ;-) I guess i will join the august filers thread. I hope to get my NOA2 at the end of the year.

i am working on my petition. in The G-325A last five years address in the example form the address is entered back till 1970 . Is this really nescesarry or this the address where i lived the last 5 years okay? Other question is regarding employment last five years. I am right now a student at university and i never had a full time job before just some normal student jobs. Do i have to put in None or what do you would recommend?

Bye

Im not a veteran but I think i can help you in the right direction (sort of)

From what ive learned you take things as litteral as you can.

If it says 5 years, you fill out the past 5 years.

As for jobs

I was told to only add official jobs.

Fulltime or Parttime doesnt matter.

a job is a job

Thanks for the quick answer,

its weird because the first line is job i cant delete present time. I mean i am a full time student and before i went to school(similar like high school). It sounds weired to me to write were a worked 10 hours a week the finance my student life. Do you really think they want to know this?

Its sound more to me to list the real work history and not like the jobs you do next to school or university to get more money.

I dont know ;-)

Burton,

List (as stated) the address(es) you lived in the past five (5) years.

I dont know ;-)

If you worked someplace, even if it was a half-time position in the last 5 years, just list it there - if they didn't want to know, they wouldn't ask right?

Use the second line for your most recent job (and use more lines for the next most recent, etc) and write "Unemployed/Full-Time-Student" in the top line that shows "Present Time."

Hope this makes sense.

The above is correct. Just get your mind around the concept of following the instructions literally and answering all questions accurately and truthfully. It will save you a lot of heartburn. Save yourself some more trouble by thinking in terms of "What did they ask for?" instead of "What do they want?" or "Why do they want it?"

The forms are for multiple purposes. Some things will not apply to you in the same way they do to others. Just answer the questions asked as directly as they are asked.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

Burton,

Just an FYI - once your petition reaches Frankfurt, part of the Packet-3 will be the DS-230 which will ask for more details...such as line 20 and 22 (on the DC-230)

20. List below all places you have lived for at least six months since reaching the age of 16, including places in your country of nationality. Begin

with your present residence.

22. List below all employment for the last ten years.

You definitely want to make sure all your documents match, dates, addresses, work, etc. Which is why it is best to just list what they ask for.

You'll be fine - we're all here to help each other..
