Oh, I hear you Debby! 2004 seems to be their problem year. We filed July, 2004 - and are still waiting with no interview date in sight either, even though the file was transferred to CSC in October. The recent Atlanta files seem to be flying through the process - which is nice for them, but frustrating for us.

Debbie,

Make an infopass appointment.

What is an infopass appointment? I keep reading that people have made one but what is it and where do you make it?

I am calling the National Service Center due to our case being Outside Pricessing Time and I just get a letter back saying the status of our case is : Your case is currently waiting to be scheduled for interview, you will be notified by mail once a date is set.

I know I am getting stressed as others seem to be getting interview dates in Atlanta when we are not.

Debby.

Kathryn41,

SO you are even in a worse time frame than us. What have you done to try and find out what is with your interview???? I am happy for all those that have only had a 5 month wait but I am stressed more when I read that people are only waiting 5 months for an interview.

Debby.

Trying to be patient and not worry that something has gone wrong. Checking my on line status - last touched February 19 after my biometrics, and trying to decide if I wait until after our 2nd anniversary in June to scedule an infopass. When the file was transferred to California, the processing time was cited as 270 to 300 days. Well, June 27 is 270 days. I have an email composed to send to CSC a bit closer to the processing date. I have my EAD renewl and my AP renewal and I had my AOS biometrics - for the second time - on Feb 8, so I keep trying to remind myself that everything is on track, just really slow. But it is hard.

I feel for your Debbie...like Kathryn said 2004 as well as 2003 seem to be problem years for Atlanta. I totally don't understand how they're rushing these others through when there's still all these old files that haven't been completed. It's completely frustrating and I feel for you. I know it doesn't help with the frustration because all these other people are speeding by you, but my case took 25 months to approve, so you're nto alone out there! (And even after 25 months I'm not done *shakes fist*)

January 10, 2003: K1 NOA

October 23, 2003: AOS NOA

November 10, 2005: AOS approved w/o interview (749 days!!)

September 30, 2009: German Beibehaltungsgenehmigung

February 9, 2010: Naturalization interview and Oath Ceremony!
