Hola

Entiendo que la Embajada de EU ahora va a estar recibiendo la peticion I 130 en San Jose, me pueden aclarar cuales son las condiciones de residencia.

No entiendo lo siguiente: Hay que haber residido en costa rica por seis meses y tambien demostrar la residencia permanente?

Si soy residente permanente pero no he residido 6 meses en el pais, no cualifico?

Estoy casada con un Tico y llevo viviendo en C.R, hacen 2 meses.

Hola,

Bienvenida al foro. Le recominedo que vaya a este link http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=304 para saber cuáles son las reglas del DCF. Tengo entendido que tiene que haber vivido en el país pro mínimo 6 meses para poder calificar. Otra cosa que puede hacer es llamar directamente a la embajad de EE.UU. para pedir más información.

solo tiene cuatro meses mas. Tambien, necesita ser un residente legal, y no turista quien renova su permiso para entrar al pais cada 90 dias., como muchas hacen.

En efecto, no puedes solicitar DCF si te encuentras en Costa Rica con una visa de turista: SALVO QUE la Embajada en San José te indique lo contrario (lo cual sería extraño, pero uno nunca sabe). Y sí, debes comprobar al menos una residencia de seis meses. Si este no es tu caso, siempre puedes solicitar la visa CR1 (immigrante) o la visa K-3 (no inmigrante para esposos y esposas).

Cualquiera que sea tu proceso, la Embajada será siempre el mejor centro de información (lo cual no quiere decir que encontrarás gente tan linda como aquí en el foro). Comienza a reunir los documentos de tu esposo y los tuyos, de forma tal que los tengas a la mano a medida que el proceso avance.

Una vez más mucha suerte en esta aventura.
