St. Lukes Medical, Can you have friend go with you?

Annie's is going to St. Lukes on Tuesday and Wednesday, and is wanting to know if anyone can go with her, and enter St. Lukes.

She is staying with a cousin in Manila, and would feel much more confident if someone could go with her.

I'm sure this has been asked many times before, but my searches are not finding an answer. (Maybe I'm just a bad searcher today.)

Thank you!

If it's going to be, it's up to me!

I am probably wrong, but I thought I read somewhere where no one was allowed to go inside St. Lukes with her. Is that right or wrong?

What Weng and I thought of doing was to go to the medical early when someone else getting the exam was going . . . we can do that right?

Annie was not planning on taking anyone inside, but her friend, keeps telling her she can go inside with her.

But maybe that's because her friend is close friends with a couple of the St. Lukes guards.

I guess I'll let the two Loko Girls figure this out.

If it's going to be, it's up to me!

If that's true and that guard will be the one at the door, then I see no problem. During my medical, I got my sister and my niece with me and they weren't supposed to be there since they're not applicants. But because my niece looks just like me, the guard thought she's my daughter (under K2) and my sister's her nanny . They needed to go outside to eat and when they tried to get in again, the guard asked for the appointment letter and since they didn't have any, the guard didn't want them to go back inside the premises. They had to "beg" and so finally they let them in again with a condition that they cannot roam around and will just sit in the corner/ladder(?). When they became so busy letting applicants in, my sister and niece snuck out and went upstairs with me. :P I guess the security personnel who instructed my sister not to go anywhere looked for them because on our way out, he was shaking his head and gave us a dirty look. Oh well... thought I'd share my funny experience at St. Lukes.

When I had my medical at St. Lukes last year, I saw people outside the medical center waiting for their friends(applicants) who were inside.

The guards will ask those applicants to fall in line and they will look for their medical appointment and passport one by one. They also remind that only the applicants can go inside.

I think you're "not allowed" to bring someone in with you, but my wife brought her gay friend with her. He's flamboyant as hell, and just kinda flirted his way in. But that was after they intitally didn't allow him to go. So I think it's a ####### shoot. Depends on the guard. they're not as strict there as the embassy.
