I don't think who needs or doesn't need makeup should be based on their nationality. No one "needs" make up, but I mean it shouldn't be that just some nationalities of women don't need make up while the rest do. At least that's how it's coming across.

Most guys seem to prefer less makeup, or at least less 'visible' makeup at any rate. (Meaning that a lot of guys probably think someone's naturally just that hot when she's wearing light mascara and a touch of foundation, because she isn't wearing heavy eyeliner.)

I learned a long, long time ago to check certain things with all women I date.

1) See them without makeup in good lighting. Sorry, but if you have to spend 30+ minutes 'putting your face on,' to look decent, then you aren't my type.

2) Meet their mother ASAP if possible. How the mother acts towards her husband and others, how she looks physically, and her attitude are all great predictors for her daughter.

3) Observe how your girl treats waiters, salespeople, the person on the street, valets, beggers, taxi drivers, strangers, etc. If she treats these people like dirt, she's going to do that to you sooner or later.

About #2...that's not always the case. My mother is a very nice person, not loud, etc and her mother had mental problems and was very loud and crazy. If my dad compared the two, he would have never married my mom. Some moms are nicer than their children, some moms are way worse. So you have to just get to know the woman as an individual.

I never wear make up to work. I just can not be bothered putting it on and making it look nice all day. Plus it is to hot here to wear it. It would melt of your face.

I do wear it if were going somewhere special.

I really do hate make-up. I like the way Sian looks without it. Make-up is gross. It cracks, it stinks, it tastes horrible, and mostly...it's fake. What if men started wearing make-up because we thought we didn't look good without it? Would women still like us if WE were that vain and concerned with what others thought of us?
