Any July Filers Out There?

Has anybody out there filed in July, through Vermont? I haven't received my NOA1 yet, and it's been about a month. Has anyone else received theirs?

I filed mine with the Vermont Service Center. They received it on July 23, and I received the first NOA on August 2. Perhaps you should call them and ask for your status. It can't hurt to do so, and maybe a phone call will get things moving.

I have same situation.

I have a proof that they received my appllication on 7/23 (A.Scot signed for it in VSC. And NOTHING happend since then. Check was not yet cashed. No NOA1 arrived.

Call them? Ha! I did several times. The responce was: Wait 90 days then call!!! And in some rude way!

Do I need to call in 90 days just to find out that it was lost? But how is it possible to loose it if they already signed for a package and it is in their office? Who knows? At least it was not returned to me ...Maybe they tried to transfer it to CSC and it was lost on the way there? Who knows?

What do I have to do now?

Any advice will be appreciated.

That's horrible to me that they would tell someone to wait 90 days before calling with a question like yours. If they're not allowed to give you detailed information on your case, that's one thing. But at least they should be able to tell you whether or not your case is actually there and not lost in the shuffle. It's so frustrating to have to wait in general. And it has to be even more frustrating to have to wait longer with the thoughts that maybe in 90 days some other rude person will tell you that they don't have your file. Anyway, I think if you have the return that someone signed for it, there shouldn't be a problem. I'm sure you'll hear something soon. I wish I could give you some advice, but I honestly thought that if you had a general question you could call them at any time during the process. I was about ready to call myself with a question. Good luck to you, and I hope you hear something soon!

I would call again, this happened to me with my NOA1 for my I-130. The first time I called they told me to wait 90 days, when I called back I got a much nicer woman and she put me on hold while she ordered another receipt and it arrived within a week.
