You mean go out and talk? You want to leave the house for a few hours until your husband gets back?

yea please..... i'm in a hurry!!!!!!

Best bet is probably the two women living in Sacramento that were mentioned by the other members in the other threads. If they are immigrants who got married here from the same country, then there isn't anyone who could relate better to your situation.

hi if you attended the cfo seminar in the philippines and you listen on the seminar, you will know what to do. its so easy give a call to the numbers given to us during the cfo seminar. if you will say you cant because your phone was disconnected by your husband then go to the payphone, dont tell me even 50 cents you dont have. you can even email the philippine embassy too and tell whats going on with you. believe me they will do some action right away. if its true that the practitioner gave you the wrong pills? then what kind of pills was you taking that you thought its the birth control pills? if that really happened, you could file a complaint against the practitioner or the clinic who gave you the wrong pills. its hard for me to believe they will really made mistake about that. im also a filipina, i dont work, i dont have money too. my husband is not rich, we are in too much financial difficulties. infact we cant afford to pay the civil surgeon for my medical so theres a big chance my aos will be denied. but i dont insist to work and argue with my husband about that. after all i did not marry him just so i could work here. if your story is really true, then the only way for you to get out of misery is call the philippine embassy and ask help from them. because i know if your marriage did not work and you get divorce with your husband but your immigration thing is still not done then i guess you will be send home. i guess you dont want to be send home, i mean to our country. also about your husband being married twice that you dont know...dont he gave you divorce papers while still doingthe visa process? if not, then he lied.he will be in trouble with the immigration because of that. you could complain about that too. theres a lot of things you could do. if you cant use the phone, i surely can tell you could use the pc. you could always email philippine embassy. hope you will be ok...

Hello, i need to go out this time because my husband is out until 9, this is my time..... i am in sacramento... please anybody knows that I can go to for a while until women shelter could get me on tuesday... thanks....

Go to or call your local police station. They will be able to help finding you a place to stay. If you can't use your house phone, go and use a neighbors phone. Or find a nearby call box.

sorry i dont believe her full story and this is just my opinion. its hard for me to believe practitioner gave the wrong pills. yes she will be eligible only if she can prove to the uscis that theres really an abuse. but if her story is really true then pardon me for not believing but theres just something on her story that sounds not right. take care cebuanagirl and i hope your doing ok...

I have no earthly idea whether the story is true in whole or in part, but 'wrong pills' could mean something like a particular brand or type that didn't work in combination with another medication she was on, or similar; it doesn't have to mean 'completely wrong', which I agree does sound more than a little unlikely...

The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

Firstly abused or not in this situation there is no room for what ifs, doubts, true or not. Being a former battered wife I can tell you she needs to get out and to get out NOW.

No one on earth has a right to control another person. No one on earth should ever feel their life isn't their own.

Please call the police or 1-800-799-SAFE (7233) The will be able to HELP you. Good luck!

Hello, i need to go out this time because my husband is out until 9, this is my time..... i am in sacramento... please anybody knows that I can go to for a while until women shelter could get me on tuesday... thanks....

I just hope you're doing fine. You can call the women shelter back and if there's a way they can accomodate you any time and not wait on Tuesday or if not, I'm sure they can recommend where you can stay for a while. THey will tell you and give you a place where you can stay.

Also, there are several VJ members here (me included) that had given you several contacts that you can try to help you with your situation, had you called them especially the Filipino Community in Sacramento?

Also before departure, during our CFO seminar, we are given numbers to call in case something like this will happen. Have you tried calling or cantacting them yet? Have you tried calling the police in your area?

Here's the number for the Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco:

Tel Nos: (415) 433-6666 to 68; 433-6675; 433-6680

Fax No: (415) 421-2641

And since you have internet access-> email them: sanfranciscopcg2004@yahoo.com

You were given several options by members here, hope you will choose the right one.
