Does my fiancee have to be alone at the medical?

Unfortunately there seems to be no standard for the private area examination. Another thread has posts ranging from they didn't even look to they thoroughly examined the area with their hands and fingers.

My fiancee is TERRIFIED of doctors. Especially male doctors. If she has to allow a male doctor to see her naked, then I think she might flat out refuse unless she can have her mother with her.

So now what?

Pras (who is a doctor herself) expressed the same fears.

I told her to pray for courage and "bite bullet" if it meant that the panel doctor was male.

Hmmm.. My fiance will have her examination at Cho Ray Hospital. I'll let you know what happens then. I'm pretty sure it's ok. They are a well known hospital in VN.

Alright, my fiance just had her examination today. She said a female nurse did the exam and she didn't really have to be naked in front of anyone. So there is really nothing to be afraid of.
