Congrats everyone.

Just wanted to let people know - Still no word on and interveiw for the greencard ,since September when we received our EAD. Someone as USCIS said that we had to wait until January to call them and get information. UGH.

Same here, I received my EAD on September. We filed on July 2, 07 now still waiting.

Nothing new for us. I called USCIS this morning. I haven't even cleared the FBI name check yet and the petition still is at NVC. They told me to call back in 60 days if nothing changed. Although by then it will be February and if there is nothing by January 24th (6 months after NOA) I will be making an infopass appointment. There is no point in doing anything else until then. At least the guy was much more knowledgeable than the lady I had last time and explained that you can't compare your case on other people because it all depends on your personal case, names, etc. Not that I didn't already know that but it's better than hearing that it's impossible that July filers already have their Green Card.

Have you read the latest news about the processing dates on VJ? It says that some cases could take 16 to 18 months to be processed? I'd like to know which ones...

All right, I won't rant, there is no point. I guess I'll have to tell my parents that so far it's unlikely that we can come visit next year.

Has anyone seen the following July filers around: dee2701, Mattob, rno310, GabachaYucateca, Swamped, Bigb42, helzie, GARSEMROD

We don't even have their biometrics dates, which makes me think they are not posting in this thread...

I'm putting everyone who hasen't even give the biometrics in light gray as in 'inactive'.

Sorry, been lazy about sending in an update We had our interview on Nov 16 (was given only 2 days notice..rec'd the request in the mail same day but AFTER interview). Long story short: We rec'd an RFE... wanted to see more proofs, which we've since sent in. Hopefully I can tell you all we got the GC soon!

Hi, I think our applications are on the same person's table who is on leave for 6 months. When I called the USCIS and spoke to an agent I asked her if it's too early to set an INFOPASS or do I have to wait 6months. She said I can sched for an INFOPASS if I want to speak to the USCIS authorized person and no need to wait 6months.

Let me know if you guys have an appointment already. It's too frustrating...

We got our approval yesterday!

It was the easiest and best experience we've EVER had with USCIS. In and out in less than an hour....

10 year green card, with naturalization available in 3 years (due to the length of our marriage)!!!
