YEAH! Finally got my NOA!

Got a question though...do we get separate NOA for each application filed?

Like one for I-130, one for I-485, etc.

I only got one for I-485....any ideas?

And how long should we wait to start to check online?

Congrats. From what I've read, I believe you're suppose to get a separate NOA1 for each of the applications. You should get them within a few days of each other.

Our money orders were cashed/presented for payment on July 13th. :dance: Does anyone know roughly how long after they cash them that one usually recieves NOA1?

welll my checks have been cashed on the 9th, the NOA1 was dated 6th but didnt get to me until 10th so i guess the NOA1 is on the way already ;)

So i have now received all my NOA1's and am in the system- all except my AP application which i somehow accidentally wrote the check for $130,instead of $170. When sending back the proper amount,do i just send back exactly what they sent me,(my forms,picture,wrong check all bundled together)but with the proper check? And do i include a quick cover letter explaining what i am sending?Thanks!

Hi jw07, I've added you to our list but I have a clarification to ask of you. When you wrote 7/12/07 for your NOA1 date for the AoS, did you mean you received your NOA1 letters on 7/12/07, or was the actual receive date recorded on the NOA1 7/12/07? I think we're looking for the date that is written on the NOA1 as the NOA1 date, not the date you actually received the NOA1 letter in your mailbox.

I would just send what you sent them with the proper amount. We forgot to include the $70 biometrics fee, and they just sent a notice to send an additional check with a copy of that notice, so that's what we did.

Well - we've just returned from getting married :) and so we'll be sending my AOS off tomoro!! The only problem is that we havent received a certified marriage cert yet, just one from the minister who performed the ceromony and the cert marriage license, but we'll just expect an RFE as it can take up to 1 month to get the real ones and we dont want to submit after the fee goes up!!!
