It took 93 days for my EAD to get approved. Mailed 07/23/07 received 07/23/07 NOA 09/04/07 Bio 09/12/07 and approved on 10/24/07. I have not received that card as of yet though.

Hi iyahata! first I want to thank you for the updating of JULY FILERS. I know it spend you much time on working with this. But ,you're GREAT But I'm just wondering what's the meaning of RED and BLUE outline? Anyway...today is the start of November and I am getting nervous.

bradcanuck: Is the NOA date the date written on the noa or the date you received it? I ask because it doesn't make much sense given that they received your application on July 5th... I have a NOA date of July 24th and mine was received on the 16th. let me know, the mistake is easy.

Because I had nothing else to do at work I decided to call USCIS misinformation line just to see if they could tell me anything about my I-485 case. After playing with the buttons to figure out how I get an actual person on the phone and being transfered I was asked where my husband was O.o

"er, at work''

"well I can't tell you about the application because he is the one the filed it, but I can tell you about the I-485"

"that's the one I want to know about"

"Oh!"

Aren't they so smart. She thought I didn't have my receipt number I guess. Anyway. So I was told not to worry "I'm not, I would just like to have some information"

I was told I' in the normal processing time. I know that too thank you very much, but I still can't access my I-485 online and I'm trying to make sure no one is cleaning the windows with it (not that I said that but I could have).

I told the lady that I know other July filers who filed around the time I did who already have an interview date and some have already gone through it and been approved. Answer; "I'm a blablab officer (some higher rank) and I've never heard of such a list, no one who filed around your time has had an interview yet."

Don't you love those people, unless everyone on the list above is lying, which I seriously doubt, they just hope and think that you know nothing about all this.

In the end I found out that my case is still at the NSC (she said 'I already told you', which she had not), and when i asked when I can call again if I don't hear from them she said 'a month'.

According to her it takes 2 to 4 month for the case to be processed after the biometrics.

Oh and if you have to call the line in question, I asked how I can talk to an officer a quicker way (took me a while to figure it out with all the options) you can do 1-800-375-5283 press 1 and then press 5.

I only wish that we were still on the same timeline but, we are STILL waiting for some kind of news about the AOS. We did get our EAD but no news for a month now.

Question: I called USCIS last Friday with my husband on a three way and the woman we got said that if I went on line (I did) and checked the processing times I would see that we have to wait six months for our greencard and seven months before we could call again. It has been 90 days since we received our NOA's. Should I schedule and Infopass appointment or just hang in there and wait?? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Thank you!!!! We were so relieved when the green card came in the mail yesterday.... Although we had our interview on the 27th of Sept., we couldn't totally relax until green card was in hand! It took a month and 5 days to get it!! But, I am not complaining, I can only imagine how frustrated you are, not hearing anything since August! Well, based on the previous post from Cecey, it looks like you are not alone in your frustration. I am so sorry things are taking so long for some of you. It's so crazy how everything is just the luck of the draw when it comes to this process.

The only way we were able to get through to an agent when we called for information (the initial person that answers the phone can't see the details of your case. They only see what you see online), was when we were not able to see our case online. The first person that answered confirmed that the case was not online, and they forwarded us to an agent that actually could see the details of our case (and at that point my husband had to be on the phone with me. The agent will not discuss your case unless the filer is on the line).

I would try calling back in a week and just saying to the first person you get that you haven't received an update in over 90 days. Maybe you will get someone that will consider that to be a valid reason to forward you to an agent that can look at the details and give you an update.

Card production for my EAD was ordered yesterday. Application went in July 24 but NOA says July 30. I got an RFE and sent that in October 5th. It took 93 days. For a minute I was beginning to worry. In addition, I was only able to check the status online after card production had been ordered. Goodluck to everyone who is still waiting, i hopes the cards will be ordered before end of the month.
