WOOHOO !!!

Got my interview letters in the mail today ! :dance:

Interview will be on November 20 ( my hubby's B-day ! ) in San Antonio .

On top of that my hubby will be here for the interview after all cause he is coming home on leave in November from Iraq !

Im so excited and now less nervous knowing my hubby will be by my side !

We got the EAD card today!!!!

WE'RE DONE!!!!

Had interview today in Atlanta! It was scheduled for 1:30.... we got there at 12:50. They called us back at 1:10!!! Our Interviewer, Mrs. Blair, was soooooo nice! She said that her previous case was cut and dry and didn't take as long as she was given, so since we were there, she called us back. We were done by 1:20!!!

She asked very basic questions of my husband, his name, address, phone number, how we met, my birth date. It was just like a conversation.... no pressure. She asked to see any proof we had. I showed her bills and acct. statements, beneficiary info., and pictures. She asked him the basic questions as well: have you ever been convicted of a crime? have you ever been a member of the communist party? have you ever been a prostitute or a pimp? She was soooo laid back and friendly. She told us he would get a conditional 2 yr. greencard and blah...blah...blah. She said he would get the greencard in 4-6 weeks and he already cleared the name check!!!I was thrilled :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance: It is over for the next year and a half!!!

I am so greatful for this site. We were very prepared for the interview because of this site, and was even familiar with the interviewer based on another's review. When she told us her name, I was relieved because I read that she was very nice! Good luck to everyone!

Congrats congrats! :) Really happy we're all getting things done. I just came from the SSA today to get my name changed on my SSN card.. (Long story!!) But basically, they had major problems (not the people themselves but the computers! darned computers..) So.. they still have to verify the legality of my residence in the US. Heh. It's no biggie, since I DO have my SSN card in my maiden name, and I can still use that.

Now, to muster the guts for the Driver's License Exam(s)...

PS I also noticed.. my middle name is missing a letter in my AP papers. I hope this won't be a problem.. instead of panlilio, it's panilio. Haha. I just hope the greencard comes soon so I won't have to worry about this.

If you have questions or concerns about your application or the case status results listed above, or if you have not received a decision from USCIS within the current processing time listed*, please contact USCIS Customer Service at (800) 375-5283.

Is this the actual card that they are sending? How long before i receive it?

I got the same approval notice from CRIS and then a few days later I received an email that the card was mailed, and the next day the card :)
