Mike and Larisa when was your package received in Chicago?

arinnI think the list of July filers was originally stopped July 25th. Plus you still have no NOA. It's not that we don't want you hear, but I think given your case it might be easier for you to compare your timeline in the September filers.

And I checked my emails about 5 times this morning and USCIS about 3. Nothing. Of course I went to pick up my husband and there we go on my way back @2:30 pm they decided to send it.

So I guess now you can find me by the mailbox waiting for the actual card to get in :whistle:

I'm new here and I saw that people have started threads for the months that they filed I will start a July one. Mailed mine (485,765,130) out on 6/27, but probably won't get there till Monday which is July.

Let's all pray for a speedy journey.

Hi just wanted to ask if you've gotten your EAD approved? Our EAD was recieved July 4th, 2007 and just starting to get nervouse about when we'll get approved...Tried calling USCIS but just told to wait until 90 day mark...Any info would be appreciated.

hello everyone im so excited i was just about to log off at work and i got 3 not 1 but 3 emails and saying the same thing and earlier this morning i half hearted called uscis and asked bout my case got same ole ####### and now im so relieved my timeline is on my earlier post if anyone interested i filed july 16 RD july 17 07 and ND july 27 and FP done one 8/17 and i did have an RFE ON AFFIVADIT well good luck to everyone on ur EAD it seems thier finalyy working on our cases thank good yay yay thanks to everyone who answered my questions now im gona have to wait for my interview letter and the final card ...............

Ok, i just recived my EAD card and is wrote "card valid from 09/15/07 expires 09/14/08" so i supose the date when was approved is 15 so it tooks 75 days not 79. I got the AP too and is the same date :yes: . Just took them longer to send the email.

I'm so happy!!!!

I thought I remember someone posting that they were told by USCIS that they could look for work and if the employer had any questions they could call them with the beneficiary also there and they would verify it has been approved. Any comments?

Hi, Skeeter211! Congratulations!!!! Yes, USCIS told us that my husband could now apply for work. And that he and the employer could call USCIS together (hubby has to be present to authorize information to be given to someone else) and confirm that he authorized to work. Teddy's been applying for jobs this week, so we haven't crossed that bridge yet. He'll probably get the card before he gets a firm offer and has to complete paperwork to accept a position. I'm not sure if it was good advice from USCIS but it was encouraging and certainly wouldn't hurt to try.

Teddy's family in Ethiopia recieved a letter for him yesterday. It said that his fiance visa was approved on June 1st. Anybody else, get mail about their K1 (or 3) waaaay after the fact? And in their home country? It sounds like they got an NOA2 for our case. We got caught up in the batch of people with no NOA2 and in the end we got 3 NOA with 3 different approval dates...one of the June 1st. Still seemed a little strange. They said they would mail it to us.

WOOOHOOO!!!!! Has anyone had success in applying for work with just the approval notice email without getting the card in the mail yet? I applied for a position as a Concierge way back (when I was looking for a job to get a work visa so I could stay with my loved one), didn't work out, but as soon as I told them I applied for a work permit after getting married they agreed to hold the job for me. So I guess yes.

They started sending me the tax papers to fill in today :)

Next week (after I discuss my future hours) I'm going to go apply for an other part time job and I plan to bring a copy of the email with me along with the NOA to show them, hopefully I'll be able to get two part time jobs and bring in money very soon.
