My EAD card was ordered on Sept 05 2007 after all i guess something is happening with my case ... now an interview date would be great!!! :dance:

Yes, a few of us are getting ours. Hold on, I am sure yours will come soon. I got mine a few days ago.

Aug 2002

Entered US on TN work permit

2003 through 2007

Renewed TN Annually

March 2007

Eloped in Central Park on vernal equinox, then honeymooned in Paris.

April 2007

Early April: Renewed TN on return from Paris

June 2007

Sent in AOS/I-130/EAD package

July 2007

July 14: DOA1 - delay in processing because CIS told me to send package to the wrong center.

Late July: Received Biometrics notice

Aug 2007:

Aug 2: Biometrics Appointment

Aug 8: Received RFE for missing medical forms which CIS told me originally not to send in!!

Aug 16: Medical Forms Received at CIS

Aug 24: Received e-notice that EAD card was ordered (No more TN! yay!)

Aug 30: Last day of work on TN. Laid off from job. :(

September 2007

September 5: Received Card! Just in time. Started part-time grad school today.

October 2007

Oct 2: Received Interview Notice: Whoo-hoooo!

November 27 2007

Had GC interview, which went smooth as silk. Received passport stamp, too.

borealgirl i was about to msg u yesterday since i looked at timelines and saw that you are in NYC too and got your EAD but before i got to do it i got an email from USCIS with my card order :) anyhow did you get an interview letter yet??? i think NY is a bit slow or rather busy!!!

I just looked online and my AOS was last touched on 9/3 :dance: Geez I hope I get some news soon! The EAD, that was last touched on 8/31...

Aug 30, 07: Transfer to CSC letter dated 8/27

Sept 19, 07: EAD Approval email

According to the online case management system, my husband's case hasn't had a touch for AOS or EAD since 7/31/07, his biometrics date... and the I-130 hasn't had a touch since 7/9/07. Should I be worried, or is this just par for the course, especially with the huge influx of new applications?

06/28/2007 - AOS packaged delivered and signed for in Chicago

Ironically, after writing the above post about no touches since 7/31, my husband received an e-mail tonight saying his EAD has been ordered!

Ok...what is going on..I am normally a very patient person..but am very confused as to why our check hasn't even been cashed yet!! We sent in my AOS July 30th..I know the fee increase must have backlogged it..but c'mon...still no check cashed or NOA1? I am beginning to get very very worried..any thoughts??

If you take a look in the August filers thread you'll see that you're not alone in that case. It's backlogged.
