I just got the biometrics letter, scheduled for 9/19/2007. I thought I wasn't getting it because of the RFE but I was wrong since it was mailed to me before I mailed the evidence to them.

I really think I might cry.

Best I can tell it is for stuff we already sent....but I will do it again.

Does anyone know if you have to re-submit forms with an RFE??

Like the I-864 affidavit of support...they are requesting that we send tax information in (we already have) to prove that I make above the pverty level.

I don't mind re-submiting my tax information. But now I am worried that I should get a co-sponser. This doesn't make sense to me because I make well above the poverty line and showed a years salary in savings.

Anyway..can anyone help? Do we need to resumbit forms or just send the information they request? And is it possible for them to send you another RFE on the same topic if you still haven't sent the correct information in? Or is that just a straight up denial?? :cry: :help: :unsure:

I've seen several people who had their tax information requested again. The only guess is that they might have lost some of the papers.

Send them all the tax info that you sent the first time, add things if necessary. If you are above the poverty level you have no reason to worry.

Included the tax return of the past 3 years, pay subs, a letter from your employer and yes refill the form, that way they can't say there is something missing.

Good luck, and don't worry, it's very common even if you sent everything.

I received the same pink thing in the post...

Mine has a little F (9)..

We sent the stuff in as you have and now we will send again!!!

I know Ive read other peoples experiences with RFE's, where it says ..

"you are ineligible for interim employment.....etc etc...90 days etc etc'

and their cases haven't been held up, but still to see it in print is not nice.

Chloe: Yah..mine has a f(9) and f.(25) But the f-25 says that I actually do meet the poverty line thingy I just need to have more evidence...so I guess I can handle that! But what a pain!
