We completed Boimetrics this morning. Our appointment was at 8am we were in and out by 830 everything went quick. Hopefully we'll be able to check our case online soon.

We had our Biotmetrics appointment today too at 10:00am. We arrived late, but no one even looked at the time. We were also in and out within 20 minutes. I just tried to check our case status on line and I couldnt get in. Is that because we had to wait for the bio appointment? I was just wondering about our EAD. I hope you guys are good. I will email you soon. Have a great weekend.

Congrats on getting the Bio completed... Another step foward in this process.

I'm thinking that most of us were unable to check our status until after Bio. I checked a couple times yesturday to no avail... But I checked this morning, and we are now in the system :dance::dance:

So I think it maybe safe to say that maybe you should be in by tomorrow :yes:

Hi, everyone! I still can't access my cases online. I called USCIS, used the RFE prompts and was transfered to an immigration officer. After they looked up each case, I returned to USCIS online, and our cases are still not available. At least there were no RFE's.

Hello everyone.....Mirasol completed her biometrics today and all went fine. In and out of the office in about 30 minutes. Tried to ask for a temp EAD on the off chance they would be able, but expectedly they did not. Just have to wait I guess.

Came home and later checked the USCIS website and saw that we were "touched", but no real update. Not sure if the biometrics caused it or if someone actually looked at our file. We are so hoping to get transferred to CSC for approval, but have to wait and see I guess.

Anyways...that's all for now. Off to wait some more for the interview/approval.

We are kinda getting nervous too, here. We sent out our AOS at 07/21/2007 and they didn't even cash our check yet. They better be doing something soon, or I will get a freak out! Mostly I hate that they don't do it in the order, in which they receive the stuff...it seems so unfair! But it was like that with the I-129f and so I guess it's just the same with the AOS!

I can deal with the wait this time though, but just when they finally do something with the CHECK!!!

I really hope that isn't the case. Wouldn't that mean they would charge us the new rates and give us all RFEs for the new rates? But alas still no NOA for us!

Why don't we just keep the list the way it is? I mean what difference is it really going to make? Everyone in the list has been following up with this thread, might as weep keep it that way. After all if it wasn't for the increase of applications we can be pretty sure they would have a July NOA1.

Yep, we can certainly do that, but there is also a August Filer thread and many in that thread also filed in late July. I'm ok with those already on the list staying in this thread.

Correct me if I'm wrong (and please tell me how to), but I'm sure you cant search AOS timelines? Just the K1/K3 etc? I know you can search by local office, but what if a case has been transfered to CSC?

We've asked for that fix and it's not implemented yet.

I notice by looking at recent threads the odds of a CSC transfer is about 50/50.

For the 50% who aren't transferred, the best source for projecting your 'done' date is to look at your District Office statistics. AOS really cannot be judged by the month the case was filed. Even with CSC. As with visa processing, every case is different and the workload of the staff affects everything.

Had I compared our case to those who filed around me, I would have put myself around the bend. Most of my friends who processed a visa and filed for AOS around our approximate time are already lifting conditions.

Comparing your case to others can sometimes end you up in a very very lonely place. You can call our case an anomoly if you like and say it won't happen to you. I pray it doesn't. But after our experience, I'm a firm believer that these 'filer' threads create anything but comraderie. IMO they create envy and anxiety with the unnecessary focus for speed.

Jan. 17 2007-packet 3 sent back (At last!)
Jan 31 2007-received packet 4, omg so excited....interview date:march 6th
Feb. 26-March 12 2007-Bill in the UK for Hayley's medical and interview
Feb.7 2007.Moved medical to 5th march.
March.5 2007- New medical date.
March.6 2007- Interview 10:30.
March.21 2007- VISA ARRIVED....YIPEEEEEEE
June.28 2007- Leaving England. POE Philadelphia ARGGHH
July.7.2007 Wedding day....
AOS.
July.10.2007 Sent off AOS and AP.
July 18.2007 Applied for SSN in married name.
August.7.2007 Biometrics appt at 8 am
August.20.2007 Advance parole came in post...wow that was quick.
August.24 2007 Got interview date for 5th oct.
October 5, 2007 Approved!
October.11.2007 Welcome letter came in mail.
October.18.2007 Greencard in mail...yayyayayayayay
July 13th 2009- here we go again..Removal of Conditions.
July 17th 2009- Check cashed.
July 20th 2009- NOA received.receipt date 07/15/09.
Aug 10th 2009- Biometrics appointment @ 11am.
Nov 20th 2009 -10 year Green Card arrive.
