Hi Lancelot, I just got our ASC appt notice today (but dated 8/3/07) just over 2 weeks after sending in our AOS stack...and still no NOA1...or is this notice considered the NOA1 and the appt date (8/31) the date used for the Biometrics column? also cant access my case status either based on the app recpt #'s on the ASC notice... Does anyone know how to find the received date other than calling USCIS?

Icarus, very interesting. You're the second person this has happened to recently. Just a week ago or so, there was another filer in this thread who received their biometrics appointment notice firs. Not sure if they've since received their NOA1.

Your ASC notice is NOT your NOA1. You should receive a separate NOA1 for your I-485 filing.

Your biometric date is 8/31/07 and I've updated your info in our timeline below.

We sent out the package on 07/16/07. The biometric appointment is scheduled for 08/17/07.We got it in mail yesterday. Where is NOA1?

We have our Bio tomorrow (SirLanceLot already updated the list), I'm so excited to get going on this. Hopefully we'll be able to view our case status online after Bio is taken.

I wonder when we'll see people start getting transfered to CSC?

We sent our AOS in 23rd July and it was received on 25th July. Check has not been cashed, nothing. Please add me to the list!

I was wondering why some are transferred and some have interviews. I wonder if it has anything to do with the I-130 and if you had sent information for Bonified relationship or not? We didnt send any with the I-130. Or could it be as simple as the work load at each interview location?

The USCIS is dealing with more applications currently than normal due to the fee increase. Everything might just take a little bit longer - cashing checks too. We filed late June and checks were cashed almost two weeks after the paperwork arrived in CHI.

i sent our package out on the 24th, and waiting with baited breath when they finally cash our checks too. i'm paranoid that they'll find something wrong and require reimbursements for the newly adjusted fees.

Had my biometrics today, only 5 other people in there with me, we must of all had an 8am appointment as we all turned up roughly the same time (7:30- 7:45). Was given a form to fill in with A number, height, weight, eye colour, hair colour, also ss number and telephone number which i couldnt remember and had to go back outside to ask Bill. Waited for about 20 mins then had finger prints and photo done. Was really simple, there was only 3 people working in the place and they were very friendly. Hopefully we will now be in the system, going to check now. Sirlancelot ill keep my fingers crossed you get your appt this week.

just wanted to do a quick update on my case.

FINALLY my k2's are ONLINE! (after 44 days of long wait!)

the RFE's arrived to MO on aug 3, although the "touch" today says it was received today, anyways, "Response to request for evidence received, and case processing has resumed"!!!

:) at least USCIS is showing signs of life!

According to Phoenix Processing office they will take 5 months to process, lets see if they keep their "promised schedule".. (hahaha yeah right)

08/02/2010 ... Send the paperwork to Phoenix, AZ

08/04/2010 ... Paperwork received at 9am

08/06/2010 ... Check cashed

08/10/2010 ... Touched

08/12/2010 ... NOA arrived (notice date: 08/06/2010; mailed on 08/09/2010)

09/04/2010 ... email: RFE sent on 09/03/2010 (biometrics?? hopefully waiting!)

09/08/2010 ... Touched. BIOMETRICS CAME TODAY! (notice date/mailed on: 09/03/2010; biometrics for 09/22/2010 at 11 a.m.)

.......................... Interview notice date: Oct 1, 2010

11/03/2010 ... Interview 11 am!! (PASSED!!!!)

12/30/2010 ... Oath notice (dated 12/22/2010, mailed on 12/29/2010) for 01/20/2011 at 8am!! FINALLY!!!!

We had our Biometrics Appt. this past Friday, 8/3. Only my husband was permitted to go in, and he said there were no problems. Really quick.

I checked online today, and finally our case is in the system. They received the info. from the RFE on 8/2 and have resumed processing..... hopefully next step is CSC! :thumbs:

I wouldn't mind a CSC transfer either... Our turn for biometrics in Phoenix,AZ later this afternoon! Hopefully things will speed up now....
