on your online case status how can you tell its been touched ?

Ohh and I just got the NOA for my daughter's I130 today but the notice date is the same as mine though 07/16.

A "Touch" just means your "Last Updated" date has changed.

So if you check your info everyday, you'll know you've been touched when the "Last Updated" field changes dates.

Hey everyone I need some help. I'm confused. We got the NOA1 for Sheryl's EAD today. But it doesn't say anything about her I-485. Aren't they supposed to come together or no?

No, you should receive a separate NOA1 for each. But don't fret too much, if you sent the filing package all at once, most definitely they received your I-485 at the same time. So it's just a matter of a couple more days before you receive your NOA1 for your I-485 too. Hang in there Dean iWait.

Ok, I have to share this. Nothing new yet on the AOS side, which is to be expect, too early yet.
But I just got a call from this place I wanted to work for (but they couldn't get me a work visa). I let them know what was going on and that my boyfriend and I had decided to get married and all that, upon the advice of my husband I sent them a letter with all the information down on paper,and guess what? They called telling me they are willing to wait for me to get the work permit and that they still want to hire me.

This is so exciting. I know it's only a part time job (for now) but it's definitely a job I want and that fits my diplomas and experience. I'll just look for whatever other part time job to help with finances a bit more, but !!! Can you believe it? I'll have a job as soon as I get my EAD. This is such good news for us It will definitely help on the financial side.

Dear fellow July filers
I wanted to know, are you still having problems getting in to check your status online? Maybe its early... but I got my NOA last week and the receipt numbers still aren't showing up on USCIS site. Anyone know the standard of how long it takes to update?

Gary&Luz - I know you guys waited a while... are your #s finally working on the site, can you check your status?

I'm a July 3rd NOA1 and I still can't get on line at USCIS. I called the info line today - the person I spoke put me through to an immigration officer - who was not able to tell me anything but confirmed my receipt #'s and said that they would request that the receipts #'s for AOS, EAD and AP get added so that I could access it.

On a side note - sorry for so many replies in a row. But how do you reply to more then one response at a time in one reply? I was fiddling around trying to figure it out but as you could see I wasn't successful!

Update: I see I did it above with Jup1ter and Angilla - but I have no idea how I did that!

Hi..

I would like to know whether in the list taken care of by Sir Lancelot, the NOA1 date refers to the date on the NOA1 or the date on which received?

Also, which service (USPS - priority etc or Fed) does USCIS use for delivering mails and what is the average time gap between document date and receive date?

Those who already have got their NOA 1 or Biometrics Appnt, request you to clarify.

Hi divs76, the NOA1 date used for our list is the notice date on the NOA1, not the date on which you receive the NOA1 notice in your mailbox.
