I was just wondering what the MSC stands for before the application number .

And How do I know where my case is at this moment ?

MSC stands for Missouri Service Center. That is the National Benefits Center. My understanding from someone else on this thread is that all AOS applications start there, and are then transferred either to local office or CSC.

Hello All!!!!

I am Lucho my fiance is Wendy. My fiance and I will be filing for AOS & EAD at the end of the week. We will be getting married on Wednesday.

Just thought I'd say hi and introduce ourselves to the group.

Ok, I have to share this. Nothing new yet on the AOS side, which is to be expect, too early yet.

But I just got a call from this place I wanted to work for (but they couldn't get me a work visa). I let them know what was going on and that my boyfriend and I had decided to get married and all that, upon the advice of my husband I sent them a letter with all the information down on paper,and guess what? They called telling me they are willing to wait for me to get the work permit and that they still want to hire me.

This is so exciting. I know it's only a part time job (for now) but it's definitely a job I want and that fits my diplomas and experience. I'll just look for whatever other part time job to help with finances a bit more, but !!! Can you believe it? I'll have a job as soon as I get my EAD. This is such good news for us It will definitely help on the financial side.

I wish you all the same luck!

Now I'm just crossing my fingers that the EAD & AOS process will go smoothly;).

We got our biometrics letter today dated 7/19/07. We received one letter for both cases (485 & 765). Our appointment is for 8/08/07. Please make the changes Sirlancelot.

Funny we have not even received our NOA1 as of yet. Strange!

You should have a case number though right? Try checking online if you can find anything... Maybe your NOA got lost in the mail or something

Dear fellow July filers

I wanted to know, are you still having problems getting in to check your status online? Maybe its early... but I got my NOA last week and the receipt numbers still aren't showing up on USCIS site. Anyone know the standard of how long it takes to update?

Gary&Luz - I know you guys waited a while... are your #s finally working on the site, can you check your status?

Yahoo we got our letter NOA today for our I-485 our recieved date is July 8th, our NOA date is July 16th, and our Biometrics date is August 8th

I just put in our number on the USCIS site and it showed up just fine, our letter got here today. I did try to put in the number from the back of the check but couldnt read it correctly until today when the letter arrived.

Also, to whomever was asking about checking online... we're still unable to check online as well, yet we've received our biometrics notification already.
