Didn't we say before that since we know thing didn't go as usual with the NOA process we would just keep the list the way it is? I mean unless anyone has a problem with it.

I just feel like everyone here has been following each other's progress and it seems kind of silly to swich just because USCIS couldn't print a NOA even though they received the application over a month ago.

My husband received three e-mails about the EAD card production being ordered. The first e-mail said the card was ordered on September 6, but the second and third e-mails said the card was ordered on September 11. Is this a problem? Or should I wait and see if we get two or three cards in the mail before making an Infopass appointment?

Cheryl received 3 emails also, two for card production with different dates, and a third saying an approval letter had been sent. All she received was one card. The effective date on the EAD is the date on the first email. Guess they're trying to make sure we receive notification!

BTW, our AOS interview is Oct 19.

Thanks

Mike

I agree!

It seems point less...and maybe it isn't following the "rules" set forth by the thread, but I sent my AOS in July, well before the new rates kicked in, got my RFE WAY before I even got an NOA. I am already attached to following people in this thread..can't I just stay here?

more exciting news - we put my husband's car on the road today and then around 6:30 tonight we got an e-mail that the EAD was approved. What timing and so exciting! He plans to drive cranes as he did in his country but to get the license will take over a year. So we were thinking about him doing some forklift work for now. So we drove over to a local industrial area so I could show my husband where he can look for jobs tomorrow (I figure we can print out the e-mail and show it to employers). We stopped at this one place and my husband asked this guy some questions and next thing we know he will have an interview on Sat for a machinist position. I'll keep you guys posted.
