:) Congrats on your NOA 1! I am still waiting. Did you send both I-129 and I-130 together? I am thinking this is why it is taking longer for me. I called and discussed doing it prior to sending them out, and with the service center giving me an okay and from posters on here, I went ahead and did that. Okay anyway congrats for you and I hope the rest of ours (and mine  ) will be here soon.

We didn't even know we could send them together when we did... I-130 went on its own

At the hands of CSC now... ugh

Guys, my NOA1 for arrived!

The letter said that CSC received my packet on September 19. I sent it to Nebraska on August 9, so I guess having it sent from NSC to CSC is what made it take so long.

The funny thing is that the NOA1 was received today, and only today we were able to see that the check was cashed.... I wonder what took them so long to cash the check.

Anyways, yippie!

The pictures I sent Chris for the forms are long expired, they want <30 days old pics, right... my pictures have date stamps on them... So I guess I have to send Chris new ones.

Hi there

First of all Congrats on you NOA1 :) I m soooo happy for you and hopefully mine is on its way :)

I just had a question

what photos are they requesting? Something like a proof that you are in a relationship ??? Photos w/ a date on them ???

Thanks

My husband just called to tell me that we got our NOA-1 for the I-129f. The recepit date was September 19, which is only two days after it arrived at CSC. That was A LOT quicker than our NOA-1 for the I-130. Now comes the long haul right? I hope all you other new filers get your notices soon. I know how crazy it is to wake up everyday and check and wait to hear something! Good luck everyone...keep me posted on your progress too :)

I-129F form instructions say:

Give USCIS a passport-style color photograph of yourself and a passport-style color photograph of your fiancé(e), with both photos taken within 30 days of the date of filing this petition. The photos must have awhite background, be glossy, un-retouched and notmounted. The dimension of the full frontal facialimage of you and your fiancé(e) in separate photos should be about one inch from your chin to the top ofyour hair in 3/4 frontal view. Using a pencil or feltpen, lightly print the name (and Alien RegistrationNumber, if known) on the back of each photograph.

I sent Chris a whole bunch of pictures, but I was wearing the date on my chest (document pictures here are always dated) ... but that was in july, so these pictures are useless now

I took new pictures today and I'm sending them via FedEx tomorrow morning... Chris will probably have them by monday

I just thought of a faster way, why you don’t just have Chris print them from an email attachment. Most drug stores have printing available from a disk or flash drive of photos that are any size. This would save time and your I-129F could be out sooner.

Congrats Samira!!! The letters/numbers on the back of the check or on your NOA-1 start with three letters and then a bunch of numbers. I think the letters depend on where your case was filed. Mine started with WAC (for CSC) and then some numbers. So just use those to add to your portfolio to check your case status on USCIS.

Most drug stores have printing available from a disk or flash drive of photos that are any size

You need to make sure the digital files are set to print at the right size. We did this with my wife's photos. She had the pictures taken in her country and had them scanned. Then she emailed them to me and I set them up in a Photoshop comp so they could be printed on a standard 4" x 6" print. Then I simply cut them down to the right size on a paper cutter. This saved a huge amount of time and money on international shipping. Also, if I need more copies, I simply print them. Also, You might want to take any future pictures without a date stamp.

If you need any help doing this, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Good luck,

CG
