hi guys! its nice to hear that some of you here have received their NOA already... we're still waiting for ours,, my husband cant wait and called USCIS the other day and he was told that our paper is not in the system yet.. maybe still in their mailroom.. so no way to know but still wait.. we're hoping that we can get that soon since even the check is not cashed yet... no way for us to send the i129f since we dont know where the pending I130 is...

hope to get it this coming week.... we're hopeful that we can...

May 02, 2008 - visa in hand, had the CFO stamping done at once, bought ticket online...

May 03, 2008 - flew to US to be with stinky love...

July 22, 2008 - Sent AOS Package to CHICAGO Lockbox

July 24, 2008 - received package

July 29, 2008 - NOA for AOS and EAD

Aug 01, 2008 - Touched....

Oct 01, 2008 - Received EAD

still waiting on AOS

I FINALLY received my NOA-1 today for my I-130. The receipt date was September 6, 2007. Thats exactly one month from when I got confirmation the package was delivered. My package was postmarked July 27 and I paid the old fees so hopefully I don't get a message stating that I didn't pay enough, but I'll keep you posted on that. My payment still hasn't been cashed though. Good luck to all those waiting and hopefully this gives you hope that your NOA's are coming, just slowly like mine. :)

4/10/2008 - Received by embassy

4/11/2008 - Faxed packet 3 forms to embassy

4/30/2008 - Appointment date assigned

6/19/2008 - Appointment at Bogota Embassy - APPROVED!!!

No touches except when I called CSC directly to inquire.

8/28/2008 - POE Houston

Still being lazy and waiting to do AOS.

*I-130 and I-129F sent together to TSC per USCIS instructions.

hubby checks the mailbox everyday... wow this is really a test of patience!! way to go USCIS

I sent my I-130 July 3 and got my NOA July 13. I then sent my I-129F August 9 (to the wrong location) and got my 2nd NOA September 3. I had accidentally sent it to the Chicago lock-box where you USED to send them. That changed on July 30 with so many other things. As I'm sure you know, you now send it to where your I-130 is pending. I was lucky enough to have the people in Chicago forward my I-129F packet to the correct location.

I'm sorry to hear of your delay. Things are running smooth for me and my husband, comparatively speaking, but I'm still poised to explode at any moment. I keep thinking, we are all just human beings! Why can't we roam the world and live where we please. As we all know, it's not so simple.

this is getting very annoying

Same here, 38 days since they received our I-130, still no NOA1 nor has the cheque been cashed. We knew the wait and process would be hard going, but never quite expected this at the start.

I-130

Met in the US: 2002

Married : 2007-08-03

I-130 Sent : 2007-08-13

I-130 NOA1 : 2007-09-26

Abandoned application and OH moved to the UK.

April 2009 starting all over again DCF this time.

Marriage : 2007-08-03

I-130 Sent : 2009-05-02

I-130 NOA1 : 2009-05-06 (no receipt received this is the date the money was taken from credit card)

RFE: 2009-06-02. Credit card receipts and dreaded RFE's.

RFE replied to: 2009-06-04. Hoping they have everything they need

NOA2 approved: 2009-06-11.

NOA2 received: 2009-06-15.

Packet 3 received: 2009-06-17.

Packet 3 returned: 2009-06-17.

Medical booked for July 13th.

Medical done, passed pending xray and blood tests.

July 13th: Still waiting for interview date...phoned DOS and they said everything is in order and we're eligible for an interview and to be patient...back to waiting.

Called DOS again 17th July, they said we have an interview date whoop!!

Interview: July 29th (hubby's birthday) WOOHOO!! Visa approved

SMS message 31st July saying visa will be delivered on Monday.

August 1st: Visa here!!!! whoop whoop!

So much left to do...but the worst is over :)

Yeah, I am working on 44 days of nothing. No check cashed, no notice, nada! I am getting so discouraged. I don't know what to do. How long do we wait? Indefinately?
