VJ'rs who sent I130 this august

It's so weird that I sen't my papers on dates similar to a lot of you, and got my NOA1s back in september and august... it sucks what they are putting you guys through

I've not had any news whatsoever since my NOA1s... the last dates shown in my status online are 10/17 and 10/19

I'm so anxious for approvals... cmon cmon USCIS

website says they're processing I-130s from july, so I thing omgomg we're next... but then i remember that is just in the end of july and beggining of august when they received that huge amount of applications and realise I must still stay patient, because this will probably still take a long time

I came from Turkey after spending great time with my wife. I was hoping to see NOA1 from USCIS but unfortuntely there is nothing I saw most of you guys got yours and I am verry happy for u but I don't have anything. I sent my petition on August 9, 07. I called USCIS and the officer told me that they are still working on August. I told her, there are people who sent theirs on September and they got theirs and she shot me down very rudely saying that "oh everybody's cases is different". But I don't even have a case!!!!! Damn it. All I am asking is my receipt. What happened to FIFO??? She told me I should wait 30 days more and If I don't hear anything after waiting 30 days then I should call them. Going crazy here!!!!

I thought you would have gotten one Alto...darn darn darn....but Germangirl just got hers last week i think...and she has same timeline or thereabouts as you - Forget FIFO - not every case is different, how can it be different if they dont look at the bloody thing except to take check scan in at Chicago Lock Box and then send you off to Vermont or California. They have not even entered our receipt numbers into the system from two and half weeks ago, not that I expected that, but just to give you a hint of how they are doing, no wait, how they are not doing would be more accurate - how can an intiial I-130 be different than the next person?

Give me a break.......I did a trace with them prior to getting our receipt , and firmly stated in converstaion I DONT HAVE A NOA1 yet...ok fine they did trace took them one week, guess what I got, email stating they could not find me, COULD THEY PLEASE HAVE MY RECEIPT NUMBER....ffs...imbeciles donks whatever comes to mind in that category fits just fine.

Hoping for you to get something this week.

Good to hear that people are finally getting their NOA-1's.

I was away for a couple days and come back to see my estimated timeline a month and a half later now.

Alrighty So today I checked my bank statements and there it was! My check was cashed today! No NOA1 yet but atleast I know my papers arent lost in space! My hubby had emailed the ombudsman and someone gave him a call yesterday. I called USCIS the other day and they got my information and actually seemed a bit concerned about the case and emailed I dont know who about it. I wanted to know if I get the NOA1 tomorrow, what is my next step? start filling out the 1129F? Thanks for all your help guys and gals ! I am so happy! My papers arent lost!!!

congratulations ......this is encourageing

....they ARE handing out NOA1 to some of us who mailed our apps 4-5 months ago. thank God !!!!
