Yeah thanks hun and enjoy your trip big time. Its just frustrating but at least this morning another VJ and myself went to see Glen Beck and presented him with the immigration nightmare. I am the liberal, other VJ is a conservative, gotta luv two political parties joining forces.

Glenn took our emails that we had printed out, and hopefully something happens. We wont give up. My friend is about two weeks after me in the same canoe with I129 and I130 in California, and no receipt not in the system. He did make me laugh yesterday as they now have put a trace on him twice - lol - gotta luv USCIS.

Have a great holiday and yes its been five months since I saw my husband and he is so darn stable and patient with me, but enjoys the fight in me. Hang in there all, someday they will find that box and start working on it. But in the meantime, I am off to Conressmens office next week to light another fire. Thank God self employed, otherwise ekkkkk

p.s heard the strangest thing tho - that either the I129's or 1130's are not processed in CSC they go somewhere else, oh well wherever they go, hope they have a safe journey

No check cashed, no news, no nothing,zero, nada. Havent seen my hubby since August and he wants to come on visitors visa but other then it being impossible im sure, I dont want it to interfere with our other stuff. Does anyone know? Thanks!

Dont mean to doublepost but heres my answer from lawyer last night, not bad hopefully they know more than USCIS...

Hi Susie:

Yes, USCIS had received close to 1 million applications in July prior to the July 30th fee increase and were not set up to handle the influx of applications prior to the fee increase. They are working through it and we are slowly getting all the receipts in. In many cases we are getting approval notices and no receipt notices due the length of time it is taking. Your case is at the Texas Service Center and may be transferred to the California Service Center depending on the case load, but will not go to Chicago . We will receive either a receipt or approval or both shortly, only we have to be patient while they work out the issues. I would say that your case would only have a month or two delay, if any. I will let you know as soon as I receive anything

She also mentioned that some are not getting the receipt notice just the NOA1 - ok whatever at this point......hoping for all August September step children to have a xmas present soon!

Yeah hun quite a few of us in the canoe right now. We are in limbo but I never sit, always working on another way to figure this out and somedays good news, somedays misinformation, ya know how it goes.

p.s And no on the Chicago lockbox for us August September etc filers, that was another opppsie by USCIS. Thinking of those initials and what they should stand for....

I'm frankly a bit shocked that the I-130 process is moving faster (if this is what is happening) as all previous evidence is that it would take forever.

We'll take what we can get, but are there any pros or cons to one over the other?

I am in the same boat with you guys here. No receipt, not a word. Trying to follow up this site but it is really hard for me to do that at work. I am afraid that this waiting and thinking about the whole mess is going to effect my job perfomance, just can't help it and I am very angry. Good that I am off to Istanbul this weekend to be with my wife. Actually this year alone I went to Turkey like 10 times, good that she is working for airlines as a flight attendant so the tickets are more affordable Himmm I wonder what happens if she starts flying to US? She is not going to be allowed to enter the US?? Anyway, she was going to resign because we tought we would be coming to US together after the wedding. I blame myself for not looking into this before we got married. But I never thought about the fact that me being USC and not be able to come to US with my wife. It is too late for thinking about the past. It is important what I can do from now on... I read your topics here and I support each one of you and I understand that what everybody is going through.
