A silly question, really, just trying - very successfully - to over-worry about my upcoming interview.

We've been living together for three years so I don't know how much of an issue it will be to prove that I'm not just a visa-bounty-hunter but I was wondering about pictures. We have a website I've kept up for the last two years with all sorts of pictures of family and of our travels with commentaries, etc, and you can't really look at that and still wonder if we're a bona fide couple. Question is - is a website acceptable? Can I just tell them to go online? We've got so many pictures I really don't want to go and print them out.

What do you all think?

July 2004 - Married

September 2004 - Filed I-130

Early October 2004 - Left the USA

October 12, 2004 - I-130 received

February 2006 - Filed I-824 to request handling in London

February 16, 2006 - I-824 received

July 26, 2006 - Received another approval notice for the I-130

August 2006 - Received form for Choice of Agent and Address form along with a visa process map of sorts and a request for an Affidavit of Support Fee Bill. All sent back right away.

January 10, 2007 - Filed I-864. At some point in time, we received a checklist back saying that we did not prove US domicile.

February 12, 2007 - Agent received an instruction packet detailing the documents to send back and those to obtain

April 29, 2007 - Filed DS-230 Part I as well as further evidence for domicile-issue (including evidence of address and bank accounts)

May 22, 2007 - Received another checklist saying we have not established US domicile

July 22, 2007 - Received appointment for interview for late in August, which later got pushed back a bit

September 4, 2007 - Interview date

I have been with my husband over 17 years, albeit married for only 2. We were advised to take a selection of photos from dates throughout our relationship, showing us together and with family and friends, which we did. I was asked when, where and how I met my husband and I think the answer amused the CO so much, he then didn't ask to see the photos.

Bottom line. Have the evidence with you, they won't want to or will be unable to go onto websites during your interview. :)

all you can have are hard copies of stuff, no electronic, print out everything you think might be helpful. They will not go to a website or take your usb key or cd with pictures.

They won't go to a website, so you'll need hard copies. A few will do. If your website pages have some imbedded pictures, you might consider printing a couple pages of your website too or even without pictures, if you think it will help.

Ah now... Don't worry about tearing your hair out. You should know from other threads that the hair can easily be taken care of by spontaneous combustion when you open the MBE and realise you shouldn't, or the freak fires that destroy the MBE when you have been so careful not to open it!!

Concentrate on the grump...
