Hello everyone! My husband and I have known each other for almost 7 years now...we met online 2001 and had a special relationship but things didn't work out then. It was in Dec. of 2005 that we met again in reunion.com and we rekindled our relationship. It was in Feb. of 2007 that he finally came here to marry me and also his first time all by himself. It was officiated by the Bishop and was held at my grandmother's balcony with my family members. I guess he just doesn't want to deal with people's opinions about online relationships and all that thats why he didn't tell anyone about our marriage plan. When he went back to the US he told his family and well they were surprised but they remembered me from 6 years ago so it was ok and now they are supportive. And we plan to have another wedding when I get there...question is i read some denials of first meeting marriage but are there any approvals? what are the other things to bring aside from letter of explanation and obvious proofs of evidence? My husband will be here during interview so I hope his presence can help. It bothers me to know that some said the decision of giving the blue slip has already been made prior the interview. Where and in what instance can u give the proofs of evidence during the process of the petition? My husband and I just want to be right about everything along the way so any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

10/01/2010: Application was sent.

10/04/2010: Application was received.

10/06/2010: Email received "Application has been received" & Noticed Date.

10/07/2010: "Touch"

10/08/2010: "Touch" & Check was Cashed

10/09/2010: NOA1 Received via mail.

10/22/2010: Status Changed Online "Request for evidence" It was for Biometrics.

10/25/2010: Request for evidence recieved "Biometrics Notice".

11/18/2010: Biometrics date ==> 11:00AM. Biometrics was taken On time.

12/03/2010: "Yellow Letter" Received.

12/06/2010: "Touch" Case Moved to "Testing and Interview".

12/08/2010: Interview Letter received via mail.

01/13/2011: Interview Date. Done, " Thanks To ALLAH, I Passed the Test.

01/18/2011: Oath Letter was Sent.

01/20/2011: Oath Letter Recieved via mail.

01/28/2011: Oath Date. ==> Done, I am a U.S. Citizen

01/31/2011: Applied for a U.S. Passport Book, And, U.S. Passport Card.

02/25/2011: Passport Book's Received.

02/26/2011: Passport Card's Received.

02/28/2011: Certificate Of Naturalization's Returned.

You've known each other for six years - I REALLY don't think you need to worry about whether you'll be approved! It's not like you just met him five minutes ago...

What is too soon. Eventhough you had a break up in between, doesn't mean your former relationship doesn't count. You did get to know eachother well during that period. We did meet online as well and didn't have any problem filing. That was for K-1, but a K-3 wouldn't cause much problems either, just submit enough and truthful evidence.

Letter received approved: dated 08-22-2009 :o

Green card recvd: 2009-09-01

April 2010: Eligible to file for US citizenship
