My fiancee and her daughter(age 20) will have their interview in Moscow in end of August. Hopefully they will be here by September 13 and marriage in October. We will file AOS asap , but her daughter will be 21 in July of 08. If they can't get approval and green card by her birthday(in other words , over age 21), and the 9 months still no action, will daughter be made to return to Russia and out of k-1 status. And would she be prohibited from reapplying for 10 years? Anyone had a experience on this in limbo situation. I have read about several discouraging cases like this and just want to be prepared for all my options including getting an attorney early on, or other options. thanks

She could age out, check the processing times for Charlotte.

What 10 year ban?
