Ditto!

Better yet get 3 years tax transcripts from IRS. They only require the most recent year tax return now but it doesn't hurt to have 3 years.

Tax transcripts are more valid than ITRs and you don't even need W2s or 1099s to back them up.

They do sometimes require 3 years when you adjust status so you may as well have them!

Did for me. I think it was because I'm self employed.

I believe it's standard practice to get 1 year (3 is better) of your tax returns to attach to the affidavit (at least in the I-864 cases). Maybe for K1 it's different.

Peace, L.

And nope, tax transcripts need not be notarized. And as far as I know, neither does the form itself... but again, it's my little knowledge ;) maybe it does at some consulates.

Good luck!

it also depends on the consulate...the consulate in tirana specifically states in packet 3 that you have to have a copy of the most recent years income tax return...perhaps its not required for the I-134, but it is required by the consulate

is a w-2 required ? i lost mine when i moved last year

Unless you have tax transcripts from IRS W2s are required.

Anyone can make out a 1040 and put whatever income you they want on it. Hell you don't even have to sign it.

Tax transcripts show you filed and the whole ball of wax!

W2s at least show you made some bucks.
