Does any one know if the hotel across from the Consulate in Montreal has suites or adjoining room? (A door between the two rooms) If not, has anyone stayed at a suite in the area that would have a sleeper sofa in it. We have a 15 year old that is going with us and I know she doesn't want to stay in the same room. :) Come to think of it, we don't want to stay in the same room with her either.

here is the link...

i wouldn't reserve a room directly from the hotel site though....places like travelocity.com or hotels.com might have better deals...

Well it feels really good to actually be able to plan and do something positive. We booked our hotel there in one of the large suites. It will work out great. As a note for anyone who has an interview in September. Most of September is already booked at La Tour Centre Ville. Not sure why but most of the month is blocked off.

I just wanted to mention that the hotel is not a 4 or 5 star hotel... but it was comfortable.... and close to the consulate

and there was a Timmy's close by (out the front of the hotel and to the left about a block or two on the right hand side) and also a grocery store (if you go out the front of the hotel turn right and go about a block and turn left)

Well Wiz thank you, now I have it, thanks to you

Marilyn, I was reading the reviews on Expedia, it'll be fine for one night, I probably won't sleep anyway.

I asked Lance for directions to the Timmie's..lol, I have them saved and ready to print. My interview is at 8:15, so I either won't sleep, or I won't have enough time to go.
