Multiple welcome letters

Hi, I came to the US 20 days ago on the CR-1 and today received a grand total of 7 welcome letters all with the same receipt date of the 14th but with notice dates ranging from the 15th to the 20th. Apparently I should hear from them within 30 days of the date of the notice but as they've sent me 7 and they all arrived on the same day which notice date should I count from? Also I was under the belief that my greencard should arrive within 4 weeks of me arriving (my social security card already arrived) does this letter now mean that it won't and that it will be 4 weeks from the notice?

And to cram yet another question in to this topic: My second wedding anniversary wash the 15th, now as the earliest notice date is the 15th does this mean I can expect a 10 year green card and avoid the hassle and expense of removing conditions or does it go from the date of entry which was the 4th?

I dont know i guess the NVC infrastructure has collapsed... they are sending same stuff to one person many times...... And many people like me are waiting to go one step forward to be united with their loves ones

Your green card will be very close behind the welcome letter, mine came within days of the letter. It seems to make us welcome they quite often send multiple letters to make sure we understand just how welcome we are.

Your green card should be dated from the day you arrived and be a 2 year one.

Lol...that's funny that you would receive 7 welcome letters! Wow, I'm sure you must feel really welcomed into America! You can save those letters as souveniers, or something like that. If it makes you feel any better, I got none (0) welcome letters before or after I got my green card......Oh well, that's ok, as I feel as though America is quite the welcoming country to be in!

Got my 8th welcome letter today and still no green card

It is about the time they start to arrive 25 - 30 days. When I arrived they said if I hadn't received it in 10 months to phone them. So from that I guess a few take longer than others.

I bet you get it fairly soon as the welcome letter is all part of the process so you are in the system.

No need to panic yet, just think once you get it you have to start worrying about losing it.

Green card arrived today for some reason I was expecting a bit of flimsy card rather than a flashy plastic one.
